Conservation District Administrative Secretary Job
The Jessamine County Conservation District is now accepting applications for a District Administrative Secretary. The DAS is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Jessamine County Conservation District, a public agency focused on the wise use of non-renewable and renewable natural resources within the county. PreSchool & Kindergarten Registration for 2024-2025
Preschool Application Packets & Kindergarten Registration Packets for the 2024-2025 School Year are now available. These are located outside the main entrance at Jessamine Early Learning Village (JELV), 851 Wilmore Road in Nicholasville. Please pick up a packet any time that is convenient to you, then drop off your completed packet any school day between the hours of 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Only COMPLETE packets will be accepted. During the summer, packets will be accepted Monday-Thursday from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Families of currently enrolled preschool students do not need to complete a registration packet. Your student’s preschool teacher will be sending home registration information soon.
Building Rental Reservations
Jessamine County Fiscal Court will begin taking reservations for County Buildings beginning Wednesday, January 3, 2024 @ 8:00 a.m. Buildings available include the Blue Building at City County Park, High Bridge Pavilion in Wilmore, and the Keene Community Center located in Keene. You MUST apply in person and have the required $200.00 security deposit (check only) at initial January visit. Large Animal Composting & Livestock Removal
Effective September 1, 2020, Large Animal Composting of KY (LACKY) in Casey County will handle removal of dead livestock in Jessamine County. This is a free service to ensure proper disposal of dead animals to protect water quality and community health. Owner Brent Woodrum asks livestock owners/producers to call or text as soon as the animal goes down day or night. Includes horses, cattle, sheep, hogs, goats, and other agricultural animals.
